Series 2000 - A Manual offers great value & performance

Tong Type Sliding Lock Bar Lifter allows the caring legs to be positioned vertically for different widths of material being handled. These lifters are especially designed for fast, safe handling of loose and/or bundles sheet stock or plate. They use the tong-action design to assure a firm, positive grip on the load, and to counteract the natural tendency of the legs to move outward due to the sag of the material being handled.

Standard sizes available:

• 5 Ton
• 7.5 Ton
• 10 Ton

1. Replaceable Bail - bail can be easily replaced if worn, damaged, or if changes in overhead hoist systems demand change in bail size.
2. Total unit weight reduced by 10% - allowing for greater maneuverability.
3. .Operator torque reduced by 33% - improved drive train reduces drag which allows for ease of open and close cycle and reduces operator fatigue.
4. New gear reducer design - again, incorporates roller bearings for smoother operation, and eliminates need for additional gear segments reducing future maintenance costs.
5. Improved break system - specially designed break has greater longevity and less parts which equates to lower maintenance costs.
6. End hook chain mounts - in the past this has been an option. The Chain mount is now incorporated into the head beam structure and standard on all 2000-A.
